Stone Parish Council is the closest level of government to a population of around 11,000 residents in an area of high growth at the heart of Thames Gateway in Stone, Dartford, Kent. Consisting of 12 council members and a similar-sized workforce, the council is an active and hard-working team that strives to address local issues and bring value to the local area. It provides a host of community-level services such as quality venues for hire, services for youth and seniors maintenance of over 50 acres of public realm, parks, gardens and allotments, and over 40 annual events, including a summer festival and Christmas lights switch on.
