In addition to supporting individuals, we also offer information and education to people of all ages on the many issues of sexual violence and the process of healing and recovery. Serving the North East and North Central Regions of Alberta, including but not limited to Bonnyville, Cold Lake, St. Paul, Elk Point, Lac La Biche, First Nations Communities and Metis Settlements and developing services in Slave Lake, Smoky Lake, Wabasca-Desmarais and M.D. of Opportunity. We are a non-profit, charity organization under the direction of a community-based Board of Directors. We are a member of the Association of Alberta Sexual Assault Services (www.aasas.ca). With respect and gratitude, Dragonfly Counselling & Support Centre recognize that we work and live within the traditional, unceded lands and travelling routes of the Indigenous Peoples represented in Treaties 6, and 8, and the home of the Métis Regions I, II, and V who also share a deep connection with these lands.
