Forest Press Hydraulics Limited is a family owned and run company, set up in 1984. Our founder gained 30 years experience with a press manufacturer operating from Gloucester in the United Kingdom, working in all sectors of forging, extrusion, concrete and special presses. Having risen from apprentice to works manager, seeing an opening within the concrete press market, Forest Press was established to specialise in this area, supplying tooling, spare parts, handling systems, filling systems, reconditioned machines and more recently new machines. From humble beginnings in rented workshops, the company grew and began to manufacture in house on it’s own machines. In 1992 a 20,000 sq ft factory on a 5 acre site in the Royal Forest Of Dean was purchased and today we operate in house design, machining, fabrication, machine programming, PLC System Builds, Surface Digitising, stores and spares, employing approx 30 people trading in 12 countries across 5 continents. Forest Press Hydraulics Limited manufacture new presses as well as recondition and sell second hand presses & equipment. The new presses manufactured have up rated castings, new patterns have been designed and manufactured to ensure maximum strength.
