OuluHealth, one of the five innovation ecosystems of Oulu Innovation Alliance, comprises several stakeholders from health and social care, the natural sciences, information technology, academia, business and the city of Oulu. The principal idea is to facilitate open collaboration in order to accelerate innovation in the health sector and to provide new opportunities to boost the health tech business. One of the most important goals is also combining expertise in wireless information and health technologies to deliver more advanced, personalised and connected health services for the benefit of the citizens. The OuluHealth ecosystem offers a unique test environment, OuluHealth Labs, for developing social and healthcare products and services under authentic conditions with genuine / actual users.
