The SIR is the organization for safety in industrial cleaning in the Netherlands and Belgium. Memmbers are companies - that own installations, refineries, chemical plants, tank storag facilities, energy plants etc. - which perform th e cleaning activities - manuafcturers of cleaning equipment, protective gear, and cleaning chemicals - agencies for temporary personnel - training institutes The cleaning activities are: - high pressure water jetting - vacuum cleaning - chemical cleaning - working with breath protective equipment - working in confined spaces The SIR produces guidelines with all member companies together. These guidelines are widely accepted in the branche of industrial cleaning in the BeNelux and in the rest of Europe into the Middle East and Australia and where ever the industries needs industrial cleaning for better efficiency of their production installations..
