We are currently searching for a Junior Accountant. This position will be responsible for but not limited to basic project accounting support, to include PO and Item Receipt processing, basic job costing, and basic financial reporting. Assist with annual financial review and other compliance needs generally work during standard business hours in an office environment, though they may work occasional overtime to meet reporting deadlines of complete audits of company records. This Junior Accountant role will provide direct support for upper-level accounting managers and senior accountants while providing important services within the office. Assisting accounting department by closing accounts, updating accounting entries, maintaining accounts receivable, document bills and supporting documentation, maintaining accounts payable, ensure timely payment of invoices, confirming validity of the debt and gathering appropriate signatures, updating financial records via accounting software, gathering payroll expenses and input into appropriate entry line, preparing quarterly budget under the purview of senior management, and analyzing financial statements and prepare balance sheets.
