Working with public and private groups, we specialize in creatively integrating land use and mobility, identifying innovative funding sources, and design of complete streets. NUE Urban Concepts develops and updates impact fees and mobility fees. Specific impact fees include roads, transportation, multimodal, parks, fire, emergency services, libraries, law enforcement, government, judicial, and land conservation. NUE Urban Concepts develops and updates: transportation plans, long range transportation plans, mobility plans, vision zero plans, multimodal, bicycle, pedestrian, trail, and micromobility plans. In addition, NUE Urban Concepts develops implementing ordinances and administrative guidance for micromobility systems for bikes, ebikes, and escooters, as well as for microtransit including golf carts, neighborhood electric vehicles, and autonomous transit shuttles. NUE Urban Concepts has developed, maintained, and updated transportation concurrency systems, multimodal districts, level of service reports, multimodal quality of service reports, and alternatives to transportation concurrency. NUE Urban has also developed a concept known as street quality of service that focuses on lower speeds that improve safety for all modes of travel and allow planners and engineers greater flexibility to design shared streets and low speed streets to accommodate all users. NUE Urban also specializes in developing park once environments through dynamic parking management, strategic curbside management, eliminating parking requirements, establishing making parking standards and using parking revenues to fund multimodal transportation. NUE Urban has also conducted and reviewed thousands of traffic impact analysis for both private development and local government. These analysis range from Developments of Regional Impact to driveway permits and everything in between.
