The Washington Town & Country Fair is the 3rd largest Fair in the state of Missouri with an annual attendance of nearly 100,000. The fair is always held the first Wednesday through Sunday in August at the Washington City Park Fairgrounds. Revenue obtained from the Fair is put back into the community by donations to local organizations, bringing in industries, and helping the schools. Admission to the fair covers everything except food/drink and games of chance, so there are no additional fees for midway rides, motorsports events, exhibits, concerts, or parking! The fair boasts 5 nights of big name entertainment. Past performers include REO Speedwagon, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Boston, Trade Adkins, Brad Paisley, and Kenny Chesney, among others.
