The Fitzhugh Mullan Institute for Health Workforce Equity (Mullan Institute) at the George Washington University Health, is a university-wide initiative to strengthen health workforce policies in the United States and around the world. Our mission is to advance research, education, and policies that ensure that the health workforce: • is adequately distributed across all rural and underserved areas; • is committed to primary and community-based care; • works in interdisciplinary teams; • coordinates across sectors to address population health needs; and • internally is diverse, inclusive and has fair working conditions for all its members.
