EXPERTS We organise exchange programmes to share experiences and different techniques, increasing the range of solutions to an emergency at any given time. CONSULTANCY We advise administrations, institutions and companies on fire safety, firefighting and rescue operations. TRAINING We aim to update knowledge, skills and competences to adapt it to the ever-changing society needs. The INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FIREFIGHTERS STUDIES (AIB) was born in 2016 with the clear objective of improving the overall training of the Local Fire Brigade fire and rescue capabilities, offering a tool to improve efficiency, both to members and other services. We also work with Authorities to improve the training and knowledge and mechanisms of action needed to maintain the skills and knowledge in our ever-changing world. The AIB, we intend to “modernize” the firefighter’s profession, making known through our studies the lines of action that are being followed in other Fire Services, both nationally and internationally. For this, we would like the support and collaboration of the various trade union organizations, platforms and associations representing the sector to join forces with the sole purpose of improving our profession. From the AIB, we encourage any firefighter, who has concerns about the job and want to improve professionally to collaborate with us to accomplish all type of studies making or job safer for all.
