Provides emergency management consulting services to private (chemical, healthcare, financial, insurance) industry and public (federal, provincial and municipal) sector organizations. The primary focus of our work has been on emergency management / crisis management program program development and evaluation, emergency public notification and training on standards based emergency management and business continuity programs. MacKay Emergency Management Consulting Inc. actively supports the development of standards for emergency management and business continuity programs through its participation on and support of the Canadain Standards Association Z1600 technical committee. CSA Z1600 is the first comprehensive Canadian emergency management and business continuity standard. Support is also provided to Emergency Management Ontario Doctrine and Standards committee which helps EMO set standards for provincial agencies and municipalities.
