Gateway Facilities, ULC (Located at Halifax Stanfield International Airport - CYHZ) is a combined service provider for the aviation industry and has been in business since Jan 2010. We provide a Fixed Base Operation (FBO), cargo handling warehouse, office and warehouse space and in cooperation with our partners, we offer aircraft parking and maintenance to our clients. Gateway Facilities ULC is a 40,000 sq. ft. facility with 7,000 sq. ft. of temperature controlled cargo space and airside access, accommodating 747 freighters along with 757 and 767 aircraft. In this new facility, the largest of its kind north of Miami, cargo is moved from the refrigerated space to the aircraft in less than two minutes. Gateway FBO, was honoured with the 2016 Pilots’ Choice Award as the top Fixed Base Operation (FBO) in Canada Gateway Cargo currently serves several major airline carriers, handling over 14 million kgs per year of perishable or temperature controlled cargo on a regular basis. We have experienced a substantial growth over the past few years due to the increase in demand for Canadian Lobster from the Asian market, by having a 7,000 sq ft refrigerated warehouse it has enabled the product to arrive in the best possible condition for the customer.
