Kinderkankerfonds is a non-profit foundateion based in Gent, Belgium. The foundation supports children with cancer and their families by supportin hospitals with extra staff, direct financial support to families, a home nursing organisation "KOESTER", day care for brothers ans sinsers of patients in the hospital, research on specific techniques, drugs or treatments and many other direct and indirect initiatives. Since it was founded the Kinderkankerfonds has grown from a family-initiative to the biggest organisation in Belgium caring for children with cancer. During these years the Kinderkankerfonds has already spend over 28 million Euro, thanks to many donations, legacies and actions from families.
