KYHO Networking
www.kyhonetworking.comKick Your Heels Off (KYHO) Networking provides a contemporary approach to networking and mentoring that enables students to increase their career opportunities and industry-ready interpersonal skills. KYHO is a women’s society at the University of Technology Sydney whose mission is to connect proactive students with successful professionals from a plethora of fields. Fostering an environment for the unapologetically ambitious to develop their confidence and networking abilities. The society will provide monthly networking events hosted by a guest speaker all in a small, relaxed environment, where feel as though they can ‘kick their heels off’ and further, ask appropriate work-related questions. The KYHO founders Taylor Gwyther and Kyra Blake feel the opportunities for female professional empowerment are sparse and women are often pitted against each other as opposed to feeling stronger as a cohesive unit. KYHO Networking is a rare opportunity to connect and create with like-minded women both students and esteemed professionals. KYHO Networking fundamentally believes that talent and passion come from all walks of life and opportunities should be for everyone. We know that diversity drives organisations and each individual brings unique capabilities and perspectives to the table. We are committed to inclusivity and strongly encourage participation and membership from diverse backgrounds to join our network, particularly Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander peoples, LGBTQI+ individuals, people experiencing physical or mental disabilities or disadvantage.
