With more than 40 years’ experience in mould construction business, initial activity of MOLFISA, we have been involved since 1984 with Zamak diecasting and in 2002, we started with Aluminium high pressure die casting. Our vocation, as well as our main aim, is the development of integral solutions for Zamak and Aluminium products, aimed at customers in many industries; automobiles, gas, electricity, metal fittings, lighting, automation, electronics, etc. Our long experience as a moulds constructor and independent foundry have enabled us to expand our and achieve international recognition, gaining prestige and trust in the key European and Central America markets. We are founding members of the Catalan Association of Moulds and Matrices (ASCAM) and the Technical Association and of Development of the Spanish Foundry (TEDFUN). In 1997 we obtained the Qualification by Bureau Veritas Quality International, according to reference frame ISO:9002 and in2002, we achieved ISO/TS 16949 certification being the first Spanish foundry to obtain it. Our QMS is currently certified under IATF 16949 In 2016 we took one step forward introducing in our process a new type of structural parts made by Magsimal (EN AC51500) An alloy for delicate parts which need to retain their strength and precise form over a long period.
