Once ACRES protects a property, our name will always be on the deed, ensuring its permanent protection. Thanks to donor support, ACRES’ natural places are teeming with life unfolding naturally. Founded in 1960 by twelve individuals pooling $5 each, ACRES is Indiana’s oldest and largest local land trust. To date, ACRES protects more than 7,300 acres.
