Brandon Jordan has over a decade of experience in complex patent, copyright, and trademark infringement litigation. Mr. Jordan has a background in computer engineering and a passion for oral and written advocacy, equipping him with a command of the technically-demanding aspects of intellectual property litigation and the advocacy skills to succeed in the courtroom. Mr. Jordan has litigated several high-stakes patent cases and is an accomplished cyber lawyer, successfully litigating issues arising from intellectual property infringement on the Internet. Mr. Jordan has practiced in federal courts throughout the United States, including the Eastern District of Texas, Eastern District of Virginia, Northern District of California, District of Connecticut, Western District of Washington, District of Maryland, District of New Jersey, and the District Court for the District of Columbia. He has also represented clients before the International Trade Commission and in Inter-Partes Reexamination proceedings and trademark cancellation proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Jordan has successfully prosecuted over a dozen Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) complaints in arbitration, transferring nearly twenty infringing domain names to their rightful owners. Mr. Jordan has also successfully registered several trademarks and copyrights before the U.S. Patent and Trademark and U.S. Copyright Offices on behalf of multiple clients. Prior to entering the practice of law, Mr. Jordan worked as a software engineer for International TechneGroup Incorporated’s data interoperability business, where he built and integrated cloud-based enterprise resource planning solutions. Mr. Jordan also clerked for the Honorable Susan J. Crawford of the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces where he handled unique legal issues arising in military courts-martial and drafted multiple judicial opinions.
