Founded in 2008, we specialize in design-build services, industrial and commercial construction, and tenant build-out for the Southeastern United States. We are licensed in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee. Rockby’s founding partners believed in hard work, honesty and dedication to their clients. In fact, the company’s namesake is a 19th century Georgia school for boys. The school employed a revolutionary honor system, believing that its students would fare better with self-discipline and personal accountability. Today, Rockby Inc.’s sole owner, Matt Byrd, emulates those same principles in the construction industry. Matt is a graduate of Mercer University, a former U.S. Navy pilot, and a general contractor with more than a decade of experience.
