The Faces of Martial Arts project aims to shed light/ignite a conversation exploring a diverse set of cross cultural themes, told through the lens of martial artists. Some stories challenge preconceptions of Martial Arts and Martial Artists, others echo the many benefits and positive outcomes of this kind of lifestyle, beyond the scopes imagined. The Faces of Martial Arts (FOMA) project consists of a compilation of short stories, interviews, dialogues, and photographs contributing to the formation of an ongoing look—into the lives of martial artist around the world. Selected anecdotes will later comprise the formation of a book and documentary series. FOMA also hosts workshops, seminars and other learning opportunities.
