I enjoy working closely with high-net-worth individuals, closely held businesses, non-profit organizations, and expatriates with their taxes, tax planning, and accounting needs (nationally and internationally). Also, I take pride in resolving tax issues with the Internal Revenue Service and other State Government Agencies. I am a licensed, Certified Public Accountant in California with nearly two decades of tax and accounting experience. I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with Accounting Concentration, with Honors from California State University, San Bernardino. In 2015, I gratefully received the Excellence Award in recognition of outstanding performance from America's Small Business Administration (SBDC). I am affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. Prior to founding Laura Silva, CPA, I worked at one of the most respectable CPA Firms, Ernst & Young, U.S. LLP. I currently reside in the Coachella Valley Desert, I believe distance does not represent a challenge for us to meet, as I have been able to serve clients in multi-states and in other countries. I have a caring nature and will go above and beyond the call of duty. Currently, an active member of the organizations, Big Heart for Little Hearts Desert Guild and The Girlfriend Factor. In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my parents, hiking, reading, singing and playing the piano, and pursuing a higher degree.
