Founded in 2008 by Fede Alvarez, Guillermo Carbonell and Pedro Lafferranderie, Murdoc quickly became one of the hottest production companies in South America, producing commercials for agencies and clients in the whole continent, and providing production services for companies around the world. Besides the advertising work, the company also produced various short films, documentaries and music videos. After the big success of “Panic Attack!” (2009), Fede leave the company and moved to Hollywood pursuing a career as director of blockbusters such as “Don’t Breathe” and “Evil Dead”. In 2017 Murdoc premiered “The Plague” at the Fantasia Film Festival, followed by a tour of selection and prizes by some of the most important genre film festivals in the world. The short has been picked up for distribution by ShortsTV and Gunpowder & Sky’s ALTER platform. In 2020 the company moved away from advertising, focusing exclusively on content production and services.
