UCM, Inc., formerly known as United Capital Markets, Inc., manages the valuation risk of mortgage servicing rights ("MSRs"). UCM uses proprietary models to offset the volatility of the MSRs assets owned by banks and mortgage banks around the USA. The models calculate the portfolio of US treasury futures and options that offset the valuation variations of MSRs, while generating "carry" income and options premium income.
