ORMAN was created by Setenay Orman in 2018. The company is based in Stockholm, Sweden. Each piece is designed and developed with the technique of lost-wax casting and 3D jewelry design. All production takes place in the production atelier in Istanbul, Turkey. ORMAN combines lines of fine jewelry with the imperfections of handcrafted items. All jewelry is made in 14 and 18 k solid gold. Each piece made to order; Setenay works together with some of the most experienced craftsmen in Istanbul, all to ensure quality and uniqueness while keeping a sustainable approach in production. ORMAN stems from the designers’ belief that fashion, and jewelry in particular, always can and should stand the test of time. That's why ORMAN introduces new timeless collections sporadically, not succumbing to the fast pace of fashion trends, never rendering any single piece of jewelry obsolete or out of style. ABOUT THE FOUNDER After nearly ten years in the PR & communications industry, founder and designer Setenay decided to change directions in both career and life. She now spends her time between her home studio in Stockholm and the production atelier in Istanbul. Believing that simplicity is the truest form of elegance, Setenay has, still, always found herself drawn to jewelry that takes up space in both room and mind while contributing to a refined silhouette. She draws inspiration from everything that creates intersting shapes and angles, and luers the eye to further examination, making all the pieces in the collections true statements and something to wear with pride and confidence for a long time to come.
