Precision Medicine Scotland Innovation Centre (PMS-IC) enables the development of new products and services for a global market. PMS-IC is an Innovation Centre that brings together industry innovators, clinicians and world-class researchers to collaborate on precision medicine opportunities. Our focus is on linking Scotland’s domain expertise, data assets and world-class delivery infrastructure to accelerate the adoption of precision medicine: new products and services for a global market. PMS-IC was formed by the Scottish Funding Council (SFC) in 2013, with an initial investment of £ 8 m. SMS-IC was established by a consortium of partners, comprising 4 Scottish NHS Health Boards (Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Tayside, Grampian and Lothian) together with 4 Scottish Universities: Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Dundee and industrial partners, Aridhia Informatics Ltd and Thermo Fisher Scientific. The Scottish Precision Medicine Ecosystem. Funded in 2016 (£ 4 m) by the Scottish Funding Council. The Scottish Precision Medicine Ecosystem is more than a network. The PME is there for organisations that want to grow, align and create partnership opportunities in precision medicine.
