The laboratories, the most advanced in Italy for the textile and clothing sector, are able to carry out tests on all products in the textile, clothing and fashion chain and also in the new and more interesting technical field. The technical competence of the laboratories has been established by Accredia the Italian System of Accreditation. The more than 400 accredited tests establish Centrocot as a leader textile Center at national level. To pint out, the recent accreditation of all the rules laid down by the Chinese standard GB 18401 Chinese National General Safety Technical Code for Textile Products and a very significant package of standards of the FZ series. Centrocot is a Notified Body in accordance with Directive 89/686/EEC for CE certification of type of gloves and protective clothing individual. From December 2008, the ecological and fire laboratories are accredited in the U.S. by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission as "Independent Third Party" able to ensure that the products conform to the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA). Centrocot is the only institute in Italy allowed to issue the mark Oeko-Tex® attesting the absence of harmful substances in products and textile accessories. The mark, widely recognized in the world, praises about 90,000 certificates issued.
