Gestalt is Australia's foremost independent graphic novel publishing house. Gestalt produces fine comics and graphic novels for international distribution, with an emphasis on strong narrative and stories of substance -- going above and beyond to ensure our books are presented with the highest production values possible. We have an abiding love of the comics medium -- our passion is evident in every title we publish. The company was officially founded in Applecross, Western Australia on the 1st July 2005 by Wolfgang Bylsma and Skye Ogden. Both Wolf and Skye had previously been involved in creating, editing and publishing underground and editorial comics in Australia since the early-1990s. As well as working with established creators, we endeavour to encourage emerging writers and artists to find their voice.
