Filipino Institute has maintained a commitment to providing the highest caliber of educational and artistic knowledge to all aspiring Filipino Expatriates in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and to the entire GCC region. Founded on November 19, 2015. Filipino Institute is the brainchild of an Accountant by profession and a photographer by heart, Gabriel John Rimando who is convinced that someone must take a step forward to help in empowering Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) through quality yet affordable education. Filipino Institute is a comprehensive short course training facility in the UAE. It has developed a new mechanism in developing a leverage for competent and potential Filipinos to excel in the international community. With its initial enrollment of 400 students it is first campus in Al Quoz, Dubai, nearly three times what was expected, Rimando knew that this is the start of something better for his fellow men. He then recruited several volunteer trainers like him in various fields to offer more courses and to accommodate more students. The accomplishments of the Filipino Institute in the UAE have resonated in its neighboring countries. Equipped with a strong passion to educate and unparalleled determination, Rimando braved the odds and dominated Qatar. He opened two (2) campuses at West bay on November 18, 2016 and Al Waab on December 30, 2016. Rimando the set foot in Bahrain for an expansion on December 16, 2016 followed by Kuwait on December 23, 2016. In the entire year of endless perseverance and dedication, Filipino Institute has already produced 22,000 graduates under its management. More so, it is expected to open campuses in other countries like Oman, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei before 2020.
