Industrial Drones Podcast
www.industrialdrones.orgAre you wondering how you can start using drones and unmanned technologies at your site? Do you need help figuring out how to how to integrate drones into your everyday workflow? How can you to convince your manager that drones really are more than toys, they are tools...? If any of these questions ring true with you, you are in the right place! Through conversational interviews and discussions with manufacturers, subject matter experts, service providers, and end users we will learn what's out there, what's possible, what's not quite realistic, and how to introduce drones at your facility. Your Host Whether it's a chemical or goods manufacturing plant, paper mill, or any other industrial site, I am familiar with many of the challenges you face. I have worked for over 20 years in chemical plants and paper mills in several capacities. With an education in Mechanical Engineering from LSU (Geaux Tigers!), I've had responsibilities in maintenance, project and process engineering, production, and management - I am in the same roles now. I started getting involved in the UAS/drone world about four years ago when we had a need arise at my workplace. There was a lot of self education from that point forward and I am still learning now. I have immersed myself in the drone world and work to continually stay informed of the the latest trends and technologies available. Attending events like AUVSI's XPonential and Commercial UAV Expo really opened my eyes to the possibilities already available. In 2016 I was elected as a Director on the Board for the Rocky Mountain Chapter of AUVSI. This regional involvement has shown me what an active UAS community I am part of in Colorado. The most important part of this podcast you, the listener. I want to know what your struggles are and what kind of information you need to know to advance Unmanned Systems at your site. Let me know what particular topics you want to explore what interview suggestions you have. ~ Mark Brassette
