Rimso Battery & Co. was founded in the year 1964, during those days the company was involved in manufacturing battery plates only, which serves as a major component of a lead acid battery. As time passes, the company moved into manufacturing industrial batteries for Solar and Inverter applications, Automotive Batteries and Electric Vehicle Batteries. Rimso has earned enormous prestige in Bangladesh by the virtue of quality of all the batteries that are being manufactured in three state of the art manufacturing units situated in different locations in Bangladesh. The newest facility is now operational with a workable area of 3.221 acres and production capacity of around 50,000 units per month. The factory is well equipped with world class battery making machineries to ensure superior quality products and better efficiency. Preserving the environment for the future is a key practise inside the organization, therefore ample amount of environmental protection systems and recycling facilities are present inside the plant to ensure safe and environment friendly operation. Periodic training and review sessions are performed to improve the well being of the employees working in the organization. The company has achieved the following ISO Certificates: ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
