Founded in 1959, Randolph is a coed K-12 college preparatory day school in Huntsville, Alabama. Twice named a National School of Excellence by the U.S. Department of Education, Randolph is the only independent college prep school in North Alabama. The mission of the School is Seeking Truth, Building Character, Nurturing All. Randolph School provides a rigorous and well-rounded K-12 college preparatory education within a nurturing community. Through a commitment to excellence in academics, the arts, and athletics, the School’s program and its faculty demand diligence and discipline while encouraging creativity and discovery. Above all, the School emphasizes honor, integrity, and character so that all in partnership with Randolph are elevated and inspired to enrich their families, communities, the nation, and the world. Randolph serves a student body of roughly 1,000 students from across the Tennessee Valley. Students compete at the 4A level of the Alabama High School Athletic Association. Randolph is a nonsectarian, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) accredited by SACS/SAIS and governed by a board of trustees whose service to the School is voluntary. Randolph is a member of NAIS, SAIS, AAIS, CASE and INDEX.
