 GlobeCap was founded by Shilpa Verma, who spent more than a decade accumulating experience in VC, private equity, investment banking, and finance, serving clients across geographies. Immediately before founding GlobeCap, she worked as a VP at a VC in Silicon Valley. Shilpa also spent significant years with an Advent International-backed PE with an AUM of approximately $5 billion, where she was an influential member of the Investment team. Shilpa has worked with EY and Credit Suisse in multiple roles catering to various aspects of M&A deals in the APAC region. She carries a post-graduate diploma in business administration (MBA) and an undergraduate degree in commerce (with specialization in finance and accounting) from India.
