In 2005, Smyrna Truck & Cargo acquired the Babb Corporation Van Body plant in Social Circle, GA. The addition of 17 acres and 55,000 square feet has expanded our product line and capabilites to support our Dealer, Fleet, Government and End-User customers. The high quality standard of the STC Van Bodies has established another premier brand for our portfolio. In 2012, Smyrna Truck & Cargo acquired the ABC Truck Body facility in La Grange, Texas adding 11.2 acres and 54,000 square feet in order to expand and clone our proven operation and capabilities of our Social Circle operation to better serve our growing nationwide presence. Smyrna Truck & Cargo Engineers and Custom Fabrication Technicians have developed and manufactured some of the industries most innovative products. Our team is supported by in-house Engineers and Solidworks 3-D Drawing applications; supplying our customers the latest technologies during the development of custom projects.
