For 20 years, Live Out Loud  has been in partnership with families, schools and communities to provide LGBTQ+ youth with resources, role models and opportunities to help them discover their own voice and become leaders of change.  Live Out Loud’s Purpose • Help LGBTQ+ youth build healthy relationships, environment, family life. • Give a sense of hope that they can live happy, healthy, fulfilling lives. • Realize their goals: education, careers, personal relationships • Connect LGBTQ+ youth to their shared history, larger LGBTQ community, and connection of LGBTQ rights to wider human/civil rights. Who We Serve • LGBTQ+ youth & allied youth in middle & high schools, primarily in NYC. • In underserved communities where LGBTQ+ youth are most at-risk of being marginalized, discriminated against, and unsupported whether by their schools, families, or communities. • Adult LGBTQ community to help them connect to younger generation. • Teachers, counselors, and advisors in schools to reach LGBTQ+ youth. • Across the country, high school students through return of alumnae/i to share their stories.
