Under the guidance of nationally and internationally recognized faculty members, students conduct research and creative exploration across many areas of study. Recent curriculum changes promote the practice and scholarly research of the most enduring creative media, innovation using the latest technology, and the investigation of the rich intersections between them. The vast majority of the department's offerings continue to take place in small classes allowing for one on one interaction between faculty and students. Supplementing this classroom and studio experience, we offer many innovative learning initiatives including internships, study abroad opportunities, and an international Visiting Artist and Scholar Lecture Series.
