Western Power Company is a Zambian Independent Power Producer developing the Ngonye Falls 180MW run-of-river hydroelectric project on the Zambezi River in the Western Province of Zambia. The Ngonye Falls project will supply 830GWh per year of low environmental impact, zero-carbon, fully renewable electricity once it is commissioned in 2025. This energy will be enough to supply electricity for 900,000 people in Zambia.
