In the year of 2003, Hitachi established its digital media and consumer products distribution in Iraq. This was a golden opportunity that led to a fruitful alliance as Qaiwan Group already had a robust network of retail distribution of electronic products in Iraq. Qaiwan is now established as the sole distributor of Hitachi, Japan’s state-of-the-art consumer products technologies, such as residential air conditioning and home appliances for all of Iraq. In late 2014, Qaiwan Group started marketing GRAND as it its own brand. GRAND’s distribution channels started in the Kurdistan Region then spread all over the country. In the beginning of 2017, GRAND has had sales in all major provinces of Iraq. In 2016, the ambition to fulfill our mission has led Qaiwan Group to step into another alliance with Hisense, a prominent Chinese brand. Now, Hisense is sold and marketed all over the country. Qaiwan electronics is one of the sector's most extensive consumer products network in Iraq. We have reached all major cities. Qaiwan also owns outlets in major cities ensuring a unique and pleasant shopping environment with product ranges and choices to meet everyone’s needs, wants and wishes.
