DeJamion is a phenomenal singer, an innovative songwriter, an extraordinary playwright, a gifted actor and a nurturing director (amongst other things!). Born and raised in Texas, DeJamion became a member of the Singing Boys of Houston at the age of 8, and sang with various choirs throughout his youth. He soon began teaching choir seminars and vocal workshops all over Houston, and now he teaches them all over the world. DeJamion created the Gospel/Inspirational/Jazz band 'Delivered Soul', which is constantly being praised for their high energy sets and shows, and for their unbridled musical passion even off-stage. As important as music is to DeJamion, the world of live theatre has also been a source of release for the multi-faceted artist. He loves performing musical theatre, and has been in numerous shows, including Dreamgirls, The King and I, The Fantasticks, A Pure Gospel Christmas. DJ has also directed The Colored Museum and Love Never Fails. Most recently, DeJamion has just finished producing and performing on Beverly Terry's debut album "Introducing Beverly, A Songwriter". The project is now available online! All in all, DeJamion has been performing onstage for over 20 years, writing and arranging music for over 15 years, and has been a recording vocalist for over 10 years – and he’s not even thirty yet! When not on stage, DJ loves to write music, skits, and poetry, and he is also working on his own album. DeJamion is ever eager to see what the future will hold for the International Kid!
