International Emergency Firefighters is a French non-governmental organisation dedicated to: - assisting disaster-stricken populations voluntarily; - reinforcing civil security provisions in emerging countries; - developing a risk culture and raising population awareness with regard to natural risks. 500 days off spent on international actions. We have 8 ongoing international programmes. Our staff is made up of: - 140 volunteers (and 1 part-time employee); - 50 % volunterre firefighters; - 18 medical team members. Our NGO is: - Civil Security certified (official relations with UNESCO); - INSARAG-certified (UN) since 2010; - a member of the International Solidarity Organisations (ISOs), under the aegis of the ministry of Foreign Affairs.
