Dr. Tim Verwest at Pediatric Dentistry of Florida & Associates has designed the practice to meet children’s dental needs in a fun and interactive atmosphere. Kids love to visit Dr. Tim and the friendly staff because they know who has the coolest dental office in town! We’ve created an entire world for children to enjoy. Everywhere you look there are TVs, video games, books and characters to interact with – including our awesome mascot, Shades the dog, who loves to have his picture taken with our patients. Ensuring that kids are comfortable with the dentist early in their childhood sets the foundation for a lifetime of good dental health. Children can get cavities as young as the age of three, even before their permanent teeth are in. It’s important to ensure that good habits begin as soon as possible. Children can be intimidated by unfamiliar places, especially a doctor or dentist's office. We realize this, and have focused a lot of energy not only on caring for young teeth, but on a great experience that creates a fun, inviting environment.
