Life Builders Initiative for Education and Societal Integration
www.lifebuildersngo.orgLife Builders Initiative (LBI), is a non-profit civil society organisation whose primary goal is to contribute meaningfully to the life of the poor, less privileged and internally displaced persons. We use education and other socio-economic tools to reactivate their enormous endowments and engage them to sustainably improve their lives and transform them into agents of change both for their immediate communities and the nation at large. The Initiative’s flagship project “School Without Walls” (SWW) is a response to a lack of access to education for children displaced by communal clashes and insurgency. It is our commitment to provide free access to formal education to over 2000 identified displaced school-age children. Currently, our SWW is providing formal education and a meal per day to more than 700 children in two IDP communities located in New Kuchigoro and Area 1, out of eight internally displaced persons (IDP) identified communities. LBI Project’s are structured to promote and fulfil the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 4, 8 and 16). Our various projects are grouped into three programmes: …Educational Programs (SDG 4) …Economic Empowerment Programs (SDG 8) …Societal Integration Programs (SDG 16) LBI was registered in June 2014, under the Corporate Affairs Commission with Registration No: CAC/IT/NO 70028
