TreeProject is a non-profit, volunteer-based organisation leading the way in sustainable re-vegetation throughout Victoria. Since 1989, TreeProject has facilitated the sowing of almost 2 million trees into the Victorian Landscape through volunteer and community-based initiatives. This year TreeProject has sown 141,000 indigenous seedlings and will plant them across Victoria. TreeProject gets urban and rural communities working together to put native trees back on the land. Our network of trained volunteers propagate and care for seedlings of indigenous trees, shrubs and grasses in their own backyards for rural landholders and landcare groups who need our help with revegetation.
