Founded in 2013, Team Astral is representing the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, India, in the CanSat Competition, organized by the American Astranautical Society and sponsored by National Aeronautics and Space Administration, held in Texas, USA. Our team consists of students from Aerospace, Electronics, Mechanical, Design and Computer Science. Team Astral secured world rank 7 in CanSat Competition 2020 by designing a delta wing glider, secured world rank 1 in CanSat competition 2017 by designing and developing a Solar Powered Glider, and world rank 4 in 2016 by developing a Electrical Powered Glider.
