Shaffer Coaching, LLC
www.shaffercoaching.comI provide coaching, facilitation, and consulting to help clients develop personal and organizational strategies to manage issues of equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging. My goal is to make complex topics accessible through collaborative learning. Both my personal and professional life are dedicated to advancing equity, inclusion and social progress. I am a certified professional coach (GPCC), with additional training in Emotional Intelligence, Appreciative Inquiry, Women in Leadership, and Mindful Facilitation, all of which contribute to my ability to work with individuals to advance their careers, and organizations to advance their goals. I’ve been told that I’m a dynamic facilitator, skilled trainer and an outstanding coach. I really enjoy designing customized DEI trainings, developing new programs and working with groups around topics like White Privilege, Implicit Bias, and DEI Communication. New topics and new industries that make me acquire skills or stretch my abilities are much appreciated. Living in Washington, D.C., I balance work with museum hopping, volunteering, and spending time with visiting family and friends. I’m also a somewhat inconsistent blogger on Medium and at my blog Amandatory Rant. I partner with a team of colleagues with complimentary skills across a number of sectors, so please contact me if you have a complex project.
