The Outer Voice Company exists to create unprecedented opportunity and representation for South Asians in American entertainment. First launching Outer Voice Records in June 2021 and then Outer Voice Media in January 2023, founders JAM & Philly aim to build an ecosystem for the community - from music to media to events. Outer Voice Records is the South Asian American label. Launched by Converse and powered by Vydia, we recruit talent from across the diaspora and provide support in multiple areas - A&R, distribution, publishing, playlisting, marketing, and sync pitching (to name a few). Outer Voice Media is by and for South Asian creatives. We are a production company that casts, connects, and celebrates our community every chance we get - primarily through a variety of original video series. Both companies come together to produce in-person OV experiences. We've hosted a women-in-music panel at Converse Soho, an artist showcase at Ludlow House, and a comedy night at Baar Baar NYC, and we're only just getting started.
