R.I.S.E (Recognizing and Increasing our Standards and Expectations) The RISE Project is non-profit organization founded by Wharton, TX native Ariel J. Taylor in 2009 at the University of Texas at Austin. The goal is to positively impact the lives of the youth in our community. It is our mission to assist youth in recognizing their self-worth and to encourage them to reach beyond what they can see. We believe that in order to address the ever so prevalent achievement gap, we must first address the opportunity gap.
