(DEI) was founded in 2007 by Paul Doherty, P.Eng., PE., LEED® AP after 20 years of engineering consulting experience in North America.  DEI is incorporated federally (Canada) and holds a Certificate of Authorization (C of A) and a Consulting Engineer Designation from Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).  DEI is a member of the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies - Canada (ACEC) and is licenced and insured to provide a comprehensive range of mechanical and electrical engineering consulting services in Ontario under PEO and Alberta under the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). This philosophy guides all our work with the goal of delivering robust, reliable, and resilient design solutions to our clients.
