Formed in 1955 as an elite group of professional investigators, Council of International Investigators (CII) is dedicated to fostering integrity, ethics, and mutual trust amongst its carefully vetted members across the globe. Our goals are simple: encourage the sharing of knowledge and experience, provide localized information concerning proper standards of practice, operate ethically and with integrity on behalf of our international clientele, and provide an enhanced quality of service through our network of expert investigators. Our elite investigators draw on the skills of a large network of professionals covering more than 60 different investigative disciplines, setting the global standard for technical competence and professionalism in the field of private investigation. CII membership- a privilege reserved for individuals who add dignity and prestige to the Council as a whole- has expanded to over 400 leaders in the investigative industry spanning over 70 countries since it was formed in Chicago, Illinois over 60 years ago.
