Our more than 45,000 members join the Sierra Club for a variety of reasons. Some mainly join to enjoy the outdoors with others who share their values during the many hikes, trips and outings coordinated and lead by our volunteer leaders, while others join simply to make a difference related to environmental issues either through donations or by participating in our many volunteer lead advocacy projects. As the Angeles Chapter of the Sierra Club, we advocate for issues that are important to the diverse communities of Southern California, and lobby for green transportation, clean water, environmental justice, political action, conservation and more.
