The California Transhumanist Party is the California affiliate of the United States Transhumanist Party. Based in the city of Los Angeles, the California party is organized by academic and industry leaders who are involved in science, health, and technology. The three core ideals of the California Transhumanist Party are: 1. We support significant life extension with a high quality of life achieved through the progress of science and technology. 2. We support an inclusive cultural, societal, and political atmosphere informed and animated by reason and science to foster peace, prosperity, and universal rights for all. 3. We support efforts to use science, technology, and rational discourse to reduce and eliminate various existential risks to the human species.
