Tennessee World Affairs Council
www.tnwac.orgTennessee World Affairs Council is a nonpartisan, nonprofit educational association that seeks a well-informed community that thinks critically about the world and the impact of global events. It does so through distinguished speaker programs, seminars, Webinars, Podcasts and educational outreach programs in high schools and universities. The Council is a member of the 90+ network of similarly focused world affairs councils. It is hosted by Belmont University where most of its in-person events are held. A regular program of Webinars and Podcasts (2-3 week) connect our community with foreign ambassadors and other diplomats, business leaders, military officers, scholars and other specialists. The Academic WorldQuest program for high school students inspires interest in global affairs through weekly quizzes, scholar certificate programs and a state-wide tournament with the champions advancing to a national match and a tour of Washington, DC foreign interest institutions. The TNWAC is a membership organization and welcomes everyone. You can become a member at www.tnwac.org/join. The Council is a 501c3 tax exempt organization so any financial gifts are tax deductible under the provisions of IRS regulations. So, thank you for your gift to make the Council's global affairs awareness programs possible.
